Visiting our Patients

Visiting Hours

To family members

All of the patient rooms at St. Luke’s are private rooms, so in principle there are no restrictions for visiting hours. However, visits to the ICU, CCM, ICCU and IMCU must be between 10:00AM and 8:00PM. Other wards also have time for lights-out and we ask all visitors to please be considerate of this.

To other visitors

For non-family members, we ask that you to limit visits to the following hours:

* You may visit any time on the day of hospitalization and 12 hours after delivery.
* Only spouses may enter the room while mothers are breastfeeding.
ICU, CCM, ICCU, IMCU Family members / person permitted by family members are allowed.

Patients who do not want visitors

At our hospital, visitors are informed of the room number for the patient they wish to visit. If you do not wish to receive visitors, please let our staff know at the Admission Office ( Counter #7 on the 1st floor in the Main Building ).

Visitors’ Policy

  • In order to prevent hospital infections and ensure the safety of all our patients, please understand that we implement strict infection screening for all visitors.
    Visitors with the following conditions will not be allowed access to patient care areas:
    1. Those with the following symptoms:
      body temperature above 37℃, sore throat, cough, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or red eyes
    2. In addition to the above, for visitors under 12 years old, the following restrictions also apply:
      Those who have not received vaccination against measles, chicken pox, and mumps, as well as those who have not gained natural immunity to these disease via prior infection.
  • Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, and stay in the lounge.
  • Children under 12 are not allowed in the pediatric ward.
  • Please be aware that a visit may be refused or may have a lengthy waiting time depending on the patient’s current condition and medical schedule.
  • Visitors under the influence of alcohol will be refused.

Other cautions

  • The medical staff reserves the right to reject patient gifts that could interfere with medical treatment and/or patient safety.
  • Please refrain from eating or drinking in patient rooms.
  • All of our facilities are non-smoking. There are no smoking rooms.
  • Rules regarding use of cell-phones depend on the ward. Please follow any posted signs.
