Calculation of Hospitalization Fee/ Room Charge (partially covered by national health insurance)

Hospitalization fees are set by the national health insurance and, unlike in hotels, are calculated from 12:00AM. (If a patient is hospitalized for 1 night/2 days, the room charge is calculated for 2 days.)

Example: When using a room with a room charge of ¥33,000 and staying from April 1st at 9:00AM to April 3rd at 10:00AM, the total room charge for this hospital stay is calculated as ¥33,000 × 3 days=¥99,000.

Calculation of Hospitalization Fee/ Room Charge (partially covered by national health insurance)

In the above example, a fee for 3 days will be charged.

Payment of hospitalization fee during your stay

During hospitalization, hospitalization fees, including room charges, will be billed twice per month. On the 5th and 17th of each month, a bill will be sent to your room. We request that payment be made within 3 days, inclusive of the distribution date. Payment may be made at Counter #8 on the 1st floor in the Main Building.

At discharge, the nurse will return your hospital ID card. If the doctor has prescribed any medication for you to take after discharge, please do not forget to take that home with you.

Payments at discharge

For payment, please go to Counter #8 on the 1st floor in the Main Building with your hospital ID card. Please note that we only accept single payment; multiple billing and payment plans are not offered at this time. If you have a receipt of guaranty deposit, please do not forget to bring it.
